Welcome to the Clean Air Systems, Inc. Website! We created this site to help those interested in learning more about indoor air quality products and services.

Clean Air Systems, Inc. was founded in 1978 by Tom Halker. The company started out selling Smokeeter Air Cleaning Systems to restaurants, bars, fraternal organizations and the like. Our mission was to engineer an air cleaning system that would clean the indoor air and make for a pleasant environment for both the non-smoking and smoking customer. Over the years Clean Air has successfully sold and installed hundreds of air cleaning systems throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

In 1986 Clean Air opened up its air duct cleaning branch. At that time air duct cleaning was in its infancy, and Clean Air helped pioneer this service in the local area. We started out with one truck and one crew who did residential cleanings locally. Since then we have grown into three crews who provide residential, commercial, and industrial air duct cleaning services throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

In 1987 Clean Air become a master distributor for Nederman USA, Inc. Nederman is a worldwide manufacturer of products that capture contaminate at the source. These products range from fume arms design to source capture welding fumes to diesel exhaust systems that source capture harmful diesel exhaust fumes.

In 2007, Clean Air Systems became a distributor for Zimek, Inc. Zimek is the only room and vehicle sterilizing system that uses an advanced microparticle disinfectant process called Dri-Mist™ which eliminates harmful environmental contaminants such as MRSA, VRE, Hepatitis C, the bird flu, and other nosocomial pathogens, toxic mold, insects, and allergens that can be found in almost every indoor setting.
